ASSESSMENT OF INFRASTRUCTURAL FACTORS IN THE GEOINFORMATION SYSTEM OF ECOTOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THE EAST KAZAKHSTAN REGION

Abstract

Currently, the trend of development of ecological tourism continues in Kazakhstan. Despite the fact that ecotourism differs from other types of tourism by its impact on the natural environment and does not require a particularly developed infrastructure, activities in this area face problems due to the fact that most of the recreational and tourist infrastructure is still under development.

The economic potential of eco-tourism in the Republic of Kazakhstan is almost limitless, but significant investments are needed for its development. The development of the infrastructure necessary for ecological tourism will ensure the accessibility of unique natural objects for tourists.

In order to implement investment projects on ecological tourism facilities in the East Kazakhstan region, it is necessary to create conditions for attracting investments. The successful development of ecotourism has a positive impact not only on the environment, but also on the development of small businesses in the East Kazakhstan region, which has great potential for the development of tourism in the region. In addition, measures to improve infrastructure, landscaping and landscaping will be consistently implemented in specially protected natural areas, and there will be a growing trend in the number of eco-bases and hotels in the regions adjacent to protected areas. This set of factors strengthens the institutional and material basis for the development of ecotourism in Kazakhstan, contributes to increasing its competitiveness in domestic and international markets, as well as increasing the influx of tourists to the country's unique natural territories.

In order to further effectively develop this trend, one of the important directions in the future is the development of various maps using Geographic information systems (GIS). Such maps are a prerequisite for tourists to have access to information about the area, to display the layout of tourist sites, optimal organization of routes and effective planning of environmental protection measures.
