This article examines the economic aspects of tourism destination development. The study analyzes the main theoretical models of tourism development, highlighting the strengths and weaknesses of different approaches. The authors explore the impact of investments, infrastructure, socio-economic conditions, and institutional support on the attractiveness and sustainability of destinations. The findings indicate that destination development depends not only on economic indicators but also on social support and the quality of infrastructure. The ideas proposed in the article contribute to effective destination management through the integration of economic factors, the combination of multiple theoretical models, and continuous monitoring.
