ASSESSING THE IMPACT OF INBOUND TOURISM ON THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF MANGYSTAU REGION

This article explores the impact of inbound tourism on the socio-economic development of Mangystau Region over the period from 2022 to 2024. The study analyzes key indicators such as the number of tourists, tourism revenues, infrastructure investment, and changes in the social sphere. To assess the impact of tourism, the analysis employs the Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) method, which helps identify statistically significant differences in the data. The results show a steady increase in tourist flows, tourism-related revenues, and capital investments in infrastructure, which contribute to improving the socio-economic situation in the region. The impact of tourism is also reflected in the creation of new jobs in the tourism sector. The article emphasizes the importance of tourism as a driver of economic growth and provides recommendations for further developing tourism infrastructure and enhancing service quality in Mangystau Region.
