CURRENT ISSUES AND TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL TOURISM IN KAZAKHSTAN

Abstract

This article discusses the main problems of medical tourism in Kazakhstan. The implementation of social and economic policy of Kazakhstan, aimed at reforming the system of social protection of the population, including the improvement of public health, requires the creation of a competitive, steadily developing national economy in the shortest possible time. Development of medical and health tourism in the Republic of Kazakhstan requires a complex approach: legal provision, licensing of medical and health institutions, their support at the state level, improvement of medical and health infrastructure, creation of a unified database of all health facilities. increase the level of service in the country, create personnel training centers. Solving the above-mentioned problems is closely related to the development of medical tourism, which is a means of ensuring the physical and mental health of the nation and the development of the individual. On the other hand, tourism, working as an industry, helps to increase public wealth by restoring labor resources, provides employment to the population and allows solving many other socio-economic problems of resort and tourist regions of the country.
