Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the tourism potential of the Abai region. It highlights the importance of the region's geographical location, historical and cultural heritage, and natural attractions in the development of tourism. The study examines the dynamics of tourist flows, tourist preferences, and the positive trend of investments in the tourism sector of the Abai region. Additionally, it proposes legal, organizational, economic, social, scientific educational, cultural, and environmental regulatory tools for the development of historical and cultural tourism. The article emphasizes the importance of informational and promotional activities to enhance the region's popularity and improve the socio-economic well-being of the local population. The research findings include recommendations for improving tourism development strategies in the Abai region. The research method used analytical and comparative analysis techniques. The article collects and analyzes data on the region's geographical and socio-economic conditions, historical and cultural heritage, and natural attractions. In particular, statistical data were used to determine the dynamics of tourist flows in the region, tourist interest areas, and the impact of investments on the tourism sector.
