The term "corruption economy" in both narrow and broad senses refers to unethical and selfish actions aimed at personal enrichment by individuals holding government positions. These individuals, abusing their authority, embezzle significant budget funds allocated for the country's prosperity and development to enrich themselves, their families, and relatives. Such actions are accompanied by corrupt schemes that harm the country's economic growth. The reason for this lies in the fact that some of the wealthiest people in the world initially built their fortunes while holding government positions, leveraging corrupt methods. Their enrichment occurred through bribery and fraud. These individuals did not contribute to the proper functioning of their countries' economies; instead, they focused solely on filling their own pockets. This is why corruption is defined as the inclination of officials in the system of power to use their authority for illegal and criminal actions aimed at personal gain. The article analyzes how the fight against corruption is being carried out to prevent the establishment and spread of a "corruption economy" in our country.
