Abstract

This article focuses on studying the religious and psychological foundations of pilgrimage to sacred sites in the Turkistan region. The article discusses the characteristics of sacred places and their impact on the psychological state of pilgrims. The research also covers the social and cultural aspects of religious tourism. The Turkistan region, rich in historically and religiously significant sites, contributes to the development of religious tourism and enhances the
region's potential. The article analyzes the motives of religious travels, their influence on the mental state of pilgrims, and the long-term psychological effects of religious tourism on local communities and pilgrims. This research aims to understand modern trends in religious tourism, including its psychological and social aspects. Identifying the potential of religious tourism allows for a broader presentation of the region's cultural heritage.
